Devyzz Sport is born to address a specific challenge: supporting athletes in their often nomadic financial lives, with tools and expertise previously reserved for the corporate world.

The story of Devyzz Sport begins far from the pitch — in the heart of a London trading floor. Clément Maignen and Salim Hadji met there in 2012. Graduates of ESSEC Business School and Aix-Marseille University respectively, they bring together over 25 years of expertise in the foreign exchange (FX) markets, having held key positions in Paris, London, and Geneva.

For over a decade, they have supported more than 5,000 companies worldwide in managing their international operations, trained over 200 traders and sales professionals, and built one of the largest FX brokerage firms in continental Europe.

Over the years, they have also served more than 200 elite athletes, which opened their eyes to a troubling reality: despite their status and income, athletes are often poorly supported, even by private banks. Far from understanding the specific constraints of their lifestyle — constant mobility, short careers, busy schedules — traditional institutions frequently offer rigid, ill-suited solutions, while charging excessive fees that eat away at years of hard work.

It was in this context that they met Sébastien Haller, a renowned international footballer with an exceptional career (AJ Auxerre, Eintracht Frankfurt, West Ham, Ajax Amsterdam, Borussia Dortmund...). Aware of these challenges from personal experience, he understood the limitations of the current system. Quickly, a shared vision emerged: to create a solution by athletes, for athletes.

Together, they launched Devyzz Sport with a clear ambition: to provide athletes with tailored, transparent, and competitive financial support, leveraging the technological strength and renowned expertise of the Devyzz group.
